I forgot to mention.

The 10/22 I picked up in Tx for a C note. The one in the Slidefire AR style chassis.

It has a Jard trigger group in it. !!!!!!

The receiver is drilled horrendously off center for the barrel. The barrel cants to the right. (Most I've seen are canted to the left.)

I'm thinking I'll pass this rifle along. Keep the trigger group, and swap it out with the one in my Take-down, or with my spare group. (If I can ever find it.)

Quite the visual wreck here on last nite's news where someone at highway speed tried to straighten out a brand new roundabout while taking out a vehicle in the roundabout in the process ending up in the ditch upside down.

Wait till the kids call you Ma'am and start holding the doors open for you.

With my gentle why's and whynots last nite the Finn has pretty much resigned herself to a laptop but not happy with my knowledge or lack of, of transferring old data to the new. I managed it with my last one but pulled out a few of my precious hairs in the process.
What She also doesn't like is the extreme sensitivity of my Mac touch-pads/click which are similar to safety'less BR rifles measuring in grams instead of ounces with the new ones probably similar to my 5 yr old one, probably maybe?

Time for this Santa to check em out in person with a bored yute employee @ Best Buy; BB being located just off the most dangerous highway roundabout, on the news. I like adventures in a truck set on its 3rd highest air ride setting where a Volvo can slither beneath if necessary.

No. I knew it was aluminum. Thought it was an older Ruger group.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky, than it is to be good.

23 up 10 from the overnight low. Partly sunny with gale warning. South winds currently gusting to 19. Looks like we might get the tail end of the s### dragon that's getting Al along with szumi and Rich.

Already there, my boomer.... but then I live in place where people still behave like that anyway.

Somebody cue the external drive. Plug-n-play, baby, out of the old machine and into the new one... and they make those things for Macs too.

Data isn't too hard. It's remembering where I got all the downloaded programs, setting up the mail, etc.

Headed to town today for weekly download of trash and running of errands. Last time I was at Wally's place I picked up two 100-round boxes of Winchester white-box 9mm ammo leaving plenty more on the shelf. I guess those contracts still have stuff in the supply chain. Might hit 'em up for a couple more today.

Might also go by Best Buy and see what they're offering 'puter-wise but might be a bit like jumping into the shark pool.

38F at sunrise, already 52 a couple hours later, headed to a predicted high in the mid-70s. It'll be one of those days where you can spot the snowbirds in the flock -- locals will be wearing sweatshirts or jackets.

Only took about 30 seconds to remind me why I don't watch a certain TV station for weather news anymore.

Cooling off again today. Yesterday was really nice, today not so much.

Busy workday ahead. Ready to go home now, but can't.

Thanks for that gunfriend. I laughed too. The part about the Friendly Illinois People drivers is spot on. My apologies to any stand up Illinois members here, I've been exposed to too many rude Illinois touristas in my area.

Vampire drew tubes. Stopped by Food Lion and loaded up on wings again. Guess what I'm having for lunch.

Finally up to 41 in the sun. Friend Fred at hunting camp. Complaining rain coming tomorrow evening and Friday [so he is coming home]. Still mentioning buzzards to find his screwup.

Got to wash the two new pairs of Wranglers I got from Wallymart. Pair I'm wearing is turning my whities and skin blue. TOOOO MUCH dye. Never had that before.

Enjoy.
