It can be done, it's just a wee bit of inletting and then hiding the EGG shaped hole left over.
The easiest thing is a 50th Anniversary Stock on the 60DLX...it's a Drop in wood replacement with LSHO.
Finding one is the hard part...Numrich might...Ebay might...
I checked the Amazon Marlin site...none there anymore.
You will either need to modify the stock to pass through the last shot hold open lever or remove the LSHO feature. The trigger guard will also need modification
I've milled a slot into an stock to accept the LSHO lever. A dremmel will work if you are patient and careful

DIP has New and Old style in Aluminium, with color options and trigger options.
