Chaser, just thought of something else, while we're discussing WalMart and Winchester. My WalMart has Winchester Super-X, but I've never read anything here from anyone shooting them. So, are they not commonly found around the country? Have you tried them? Not questioning your comment about Winchester ammo, just wondering if you've tried Super-X. They're cheaper (and dumped into box) than MiniMags, similar in performance, and more accurate in my 452.
(How do you know that I'm not your 89 yr. old gramps?)

Hey lilblkgun, you've probably sold me ammo. Maybe even late in the evening.

Question My local WalMart has Super X now

Just got back from WalMart with a couple of boxes of Winchester Super X, one 40grRN (2089210200) and one 37grHP (2089210202). The had CCI until recently, when they ran out (with help from yours truly) they replaced their 22LR stock with these Super X.

Has anyone compared the CCI to the Winchester Super X?

Funny thing, the Super X come in the same 100RD plastic box as the CCI except the Winchester box is red... any relation between CCI and Winchester?

'Chester 333 ammo and a CZ Varmint @ 25 yds. 4 round groups,

just got this box yesterday and had to try them out at least to 25 yds.

a bit inconsistant, and when i opened the box, the brass looked a bit
"tarnished". not like brand spanking new ammo, am wondering if
it is a re-packaged something or other. only fired these 25 rounds,

need to try them @ 50 and see how much bigger the groups get blown
out, lol, as they definately will. "UNCLE MURPHYS" law # 117,
esp if it is windy,

not familiar wth 'Chester ammo 'cept dynas and experts and this 333 is
neither; 36 gr, washed, flat nose, 1280 fps, BIG h.p. would make a good
gopher popper within a reasonable distance,

My local WalMart doesn't sell bricks of Federal 510; only individual boxes of 50. So the last time I was there, I bought ten boxes...

The sporting goods guy said they break the bricks open and stock the shelf (with the 50 rd boxes) as soon as the ammo delivery arrives.

There is not one legitimate reason for being out after 9. There is absolutely nothing good and worthwhile going on. So, everyone driving around at that time of night is up to no good. I don't blame Wal-Mart for not selling those people bullets.
Thats the dumbest thing i have ever read on this forum
