Any slick ideas for X22 Backpacker sling?

I've been planning to get an MS1 sling to go along with my Backpacker stock. $50 for a sling seemed a bit overkill for what it would be going on, but I figured I may as well do it right! Plus the cheaper slings still end up being about that much once you factor in the QD swivels. But now I'm realizing I have to spend another $30 to get the Magpul QD inserts, since the X22 just comes with holes, NOT QD points. So now the sling setup is up to $80!

Not that I can't afford that, but that just seems a bit much to me. Not sure why Magpul couldn't just put the QD points on there, especially since that's the only mounting option they give us. Now I'm thinking about just making a couple of paracord loops with knots on the ends, and sticking them through the holes. Not sure how strong that would be though...

Anyone have any other cheap sling ideas for the X22 stocks?

You need to cut threads with a tap for these. If you have a tap you are in business for cheap. If not here is a tap https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm going this route when my FDE backpacker gets here next week.

I bought the Magpul cups, then these Grovtec adapters. Im sure they are the same screw in cups that Racklover listed, BUT they also come with the Quick Detach studs, so once you have the Push Button cups installed, you could go with either type of swivel. I bought the Grovtec Backpack style sling for my X-22 Takedown. I know the OP asked for a cheap solution, and its not a cheap sling, but I have found it to be excellent.
