I did get it to use, and so it has been.
I bought another Government Agent in about 2002ish because its such a fantastic knife. Not as "special" as the gun blued carbon steel older brother.
The Government Sogs may be my favorite fixed blade to date. The second one is just to admire for now. Its mint except for the dent in the handle from the snap.
Id buy five more if i could.
If anyone gets a chance to hold this knife you will probably see/feel what I'm talking about.

I'm sure the memories connected with the original knife hold value to you too. People, places and things associated with it. Don't forget to include that value too.

The knife is yours, just use it. I would, just as I'd use toomany22's 1200 dollar cast iron pan for frying bacon, eggs, and potatoes. The value to me in an item is it's usability.

Anything cooked in that pan has got to just taste better due to the placebo effect. It brings extra pleasure just like reading the time off of a Rolex. Ha, and now I am actually looking forward to my next camping trip. You know that Sog is getting used! I enjoy it, and its way past the point of that minty unused version pictured on ebay.
