How to ID 52 Sporting Rifle Slings

I understand the 52 sporting rifles came with a 1" wide, 1907 military style sling. Were they stamped or marked to identify them as Winchester slings?

Sling was 1", but from catalog illustration does not look like a M1907, such as supplied with M. 75 Targets. However, maybe there's an error in the drawing.

I have a M1907 type Winchester sling that's only 15/16" wide; it's unmarked, but the shape of the frogs & diamond-shaped staples on the keepers supposedly identify it as supplied by (but not made by) Winchester.

Found some photos in Houze that clearly show the Sporter sling to be a M1907 type, but not identical to what the factory called the "Government model" sling, the M1907, in other words. One of these photos even shows the diamond-shaped staples on the keepers that I referred to previously.

P. 119. Another identifying feature: the frogs are brass, but the rivets are steel.
