Hi guys, I'm interested in a threaded mk4 in stainless steel.
Can anyone tell me if the grip is stainless? I've heard rumors the grips on the blued ones are aluminum.

100% stainless steel

blue version is an aluminum alloy grip frame, as is the standard model . makes the pistol a lot lighter.

NM,

The current Ruger MkIV Line-Up standard models with "blued" uppers have Aluminum lowers, the "Stainless Steel" uppers have matching SS lowers, and all of the "22\45's" have Polymer lowers!

Thanks guys. The one I was looking at was this one:

https://www.brownells.com/firearms/h...rod117129.aspx

Appears to be a Tactical model, in stainless. Not expressly shown on the Ruger website, was hoping to avoid an aluminum grip and stainless receiver.
