I hope you can also help or put me on the right path? I'm a very happy new owner of a CZ 452 having previously had other .22s that didn't shoot half as well as this.
I love the rifle but dislike the stock as there is not enough comb for me. As it's a lefty there are no options from Boyd's unless there are other suggestions, so I'm now thinking of extending the comb from a US company stockpositioning.com
Has anyone done this or have any hints thanks in advance from down under.

Well done Hobart, may I suggest you start a thread down in the main body of the forum with you request for suggestions as more folks will see it there.

My new 455 17 HMR

I have a new 455 Varmint TH 17 HMR. I added a Harris bipod and a Mueller 8-32 scope. I haven't even tried to adjust the trigger and this is my second trip to the range. Windy (and overcast) conditions were tough, because the targets are on a "clothesline" so they aren't 100% steady in the wind. I had some issues with sight picture, but at 20X magnification on the scope and 50 yds, shot this 5-shot group (my best). And no, that stray hole isn't a flyer from this group. I don't fully understand MOA or the correct way to measure a group (hey!...I'm old!), but there is a scale there for info:

This is similar to the test target that came with the rifle, which I worried would be impossible for me to match. I would like a better trigger because I think I would shoot better with it, but not sure I can do much to improve the accuracy of the rifle itself. I'm pretty darn happy with it.

I expect great things from this rifle once I lighten the factory trigger.

I shot this mans rifle and took out a dragon fly at 50 yards. It prompted me to buy my own.

First time poster. Pay no attention to the poor shooter on the 3 bonus bulls. The group on the turkey is 10 shots with the one flier. Not bad for an old blind guy with a stock trigger, stock barrel, and no bedding. I need to get in touch with Denny for some smaller front apertures.
