My Wranglers

I picked up my silver Wrangler today , swapped out the grips and took off to the range this afternoon.
I put a couple hundred rounds through them shooting mostly at 10 yards .
Ammo was CCI AR 40g , CCI Blazer, mostly with a little Aguila HV , some Stingers , and some Velocitors .
I’m loving my Wranglers . No , they’re not target pistol but neither are my Single Sixes and they cost more than double what these cost .
When shooting from the bench resting on elbows , I had more shots just left of target than dead on , with both revolvers depending on ammo used .
Both shot more centered offhand , two handed , standing with the Blazers and AR ammo . They liked the Velocitors over the Stingers also .
I hung a 20oz ginger ale bottle from a Shepard’s hook at 10 yards and was able to hit it almost every time, when the wind wasn’t blowing it back and forth . I’m not too good at moving targets yet
I’m including a picture of one of the offhand targets I shot six shots each revolver at . And one of the better bench targets .
I’m happy with them .
I thought I might add , my eyesight isn’t the greatest, I’m happy to be able to still be able to use iron sights at my age . I noticed once , after I’d fired off two shots , I looked at the target and saw four holes .

Looks good to me. Personally, I'd swap the grips between the two...lighter color grips on the black Wrangler and darker grips on the silver Wrangler.

I have a Wrangler, a fixed sight Single Six (Stainless 4 5/8"), a couple Bearcats, two New Vaqueros, and a 5.5" Single Ten with adjustable sights...I like the Single Ten, but the sights are horrible with my goofy eyes...fixed sights on my single actions are great!

I picked up a bronze Wrangler from Academy this morning.
I stole the wood grips off my black one for the bronze one , so now I need to go shopping for a new set for the Black one .

Spent a couple hours playing around with my single action rimfires .
I like the Wranglers , especially for what they cost , but holding one next to one of my stainless Bisleys or Single six , I can tell how much of a difference there really is between them .
Also tried a magnum cylinder from one of my SSís and it fit in my silver Wrangler and rotated , but was a little on the rough side . But I think it would work .
. Also tried my aftermarket 8 shot 22lr cylinder and again it was the silver one that I think itíll work in . Not as smooth as the original cylinder but it rotates with the hammer and spins with the gate open .
