I don't have a current shot of my 6" M-617 non under lug....but here's a shot of my 4" gun. One of 200 total run in 1991.

WHAT Smith should have done in my opinion, versus the silly HEAVY full underlug guns.

I would like to see a 6" 617 with a half-lug barrel....along the lines of the 19 & 27. I like the full lug 617 but a half lug would be rimfire perfection. A blued version would be nice as well.

I've been collecting S&W's for dozens of years. Every once in awhile I score some rare/interesting ones.

Headed to this weekends Big Reno Gun Show this weekend...as we speak.

I would like to have a companion for my Model 650, which is a 3", fixed sight, Round Butt, six shot, SS Kit Gun in 22WMR. I would love to have a 2", fixed sight, Round Butt, six shot, SS Kit Gun in 22LR. Pocket carry is a handy option and all 2" Kit Guns I'm aware of sport adjustable sights, which are an impediment to pocket carry

Im not a collector so i dont know the exact model but ide like a copy of 44 dirty harry used.

.44 is a bit much for my arms

I have a 6" Dan wesson model 17 i believe its close but i dont shoot it alot because of the ammo. If it was .22LR ide shoot it alot more.

I want an 4" or 5" N-frame with half lug, blue (none of that SS nonsense).

Sweet.

Sorry to change the subject but I would just love to have a Model 627 by Smith which is a 357 that holds 8 rounds instead of 6. I have a 41 and a 46 already so I am covered on the rimfires for a while. Probably about 3 lifetimes I suspect.

Since it's Friday evening I'll take a 90% scale S&W Webley .455 reproduction in .22LR, thank you.

I've never understood the rifle cartridge in a pistol fad, but I guess there's one advantage. If you miss the bad guy, at least he'll be blinded by the barrel flash!
