Kind of sad that the ugly one gets more than the pretty one.

Women wearing seatbelts are 73% more likely than a man two be injured in an equivalent frontal car crash.

hint: the present crash test dummy represents a 171#, 5'9", American man. That too of which is 26# less than an average male today.

Cattle and horses will suck on and even chew off other horses' tails.

I grew up with horses, up into my 20s, and I've never seen this happen. Must be a "reaction to distress" or "picking on the lame horse" situation where they do that.

I see some random internet chatter about cattle chewing on horse's tails.

Al would never intentionally mislead us. A guy doesn't get to 10,000,000+ posts on RFC spreading bum scoop

Well, only cows we had were bottle calves.

I should have been clear in that I've never seen a horse chew on another horse (tail) beyond "piss off" message delivery.

My bud's like that. If he hasn't seen something with his own eyes he's a disbeliever, like deer eating baby birds from ground nests.

I totally believe that a deer would eat a bird on the ground. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQOQdBLHrLk

Here's a "did ya know?" regarding horses -- you don't need barbed wire to keep them in your pasture. Once you establish a perimeter with non-barbed wire, they're content to hang out.

There are caveats, of course. If you decide to beat on your horse with a 2x4 on a daily basis, they might get a case of "See ya!" and bolt for friendlier pastures.

Cows need barbed wire because they're meat on hooves with no brains.

Deer have been known to forage on alewives in Lake Michigan.
