Shot this a couple days ago with my Wz-78 for the Fun Shoots

My 50-yd flyswatter is doin' swell...

I know some others from RFC have got them as well, howzit going?

Near as I can tell there were only about 3,000 Wz-78s ever made.

I'm fortunate to be the caretaker of this one...

Where did these originate from? I thought they were Polish military trainers. Is that correct?

Poland.. Wifama was (or still is) the Textile Machine Company which routinely handled many defense contracts.
It was designated the KBKS (Short Military Training Rifle) Wz. 78.

I kind of miss mine; sold it off a number of years ago, after getting it dialed in.
Really sweet with the machined steel DIP trigger guard for sure.

Although the rifles were built like absolute tanks, with them being so rare I was somewhat worried about the long-term parts situation.
Perhaps unfounded, but also I just like smaller sporters more.

I've had a magazine go 'sproing' on me, just once. I fixed it, no troubles any more.
