Hellp with problem. Hammer won't fall

Friday I took my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 to the range and ended up with a new problem.

I have a complete Volquartsen Accurizing Kit and a Tandemkross Victory Trigger. This system has worked for over 33K rounds. Now, the hammer will not release from the sear. I hear a clicking sound as if the gun fired but no hits on the cartridge.

I took everything apart and gave it a complete cleaning and inspection. Non of the parts appear to be out of spec.

Any ideas of what I can do next?

Thank you.

Have you tried removing the upper and seeing it the hammer is actually falling or not? That might also help you identify if the sear itself may be getting caught by the safety. Just my thoughts.

Yes I've taken the upper off, taken all the parts off and cleaned them, reassemble and watched everything as I pull the trigger. I'll get a few shots where the hammer will fall but a majority it just sits there.

Sear and disconnector are within specks. I've measured them with my calipers and they are the same as the ones in my back-up 22/45.

I'm going to call Volquartsen Monday and ask for their help.

My first thought when I read this is that one of the adjustment screws on the trigger has vibrated and moved. I would imagine the over travel. That would be my first guess.

Thanks. I hadn't thought about that. I'll give it a try this morning.

That was it. Adjusted the overtravel screw and the hammer started falling again.

Thanks for your help.
