April 14th 2019 Egg Shoot
Wooaaahhhh Brother; 15 to 30mph, 30*, 3 to 5" of snow and that's the good news. 16 entries, we paid back $60. That isn't a bad turn out considering the weather. 3 shooters in squirrel, 1st was myself and a 452 with 10. Irons showed great shooting with 4 of 5 entries getting 15. A four way shootoff won by Mike Cook and his custom Stiller 2500x, followed by Alf Colvin and a Annie for second. Open class had 8 entries all trying to unlock Al Moore's hold on the class. It didn't work. Al shot a phenomenal 23 with 1 x of a possible 25 with a Annie. Followed by Mike Cook for second shooting a Stiller 2500x in the shootoff after tying @12. Lots of frozen fingers and broken dreams. It was alot of fun and a real challenge. Thanks to our ground crew Elmer, Billie, Ethan and Kealey. We were painting eggs to see them in the near white out conditions. They were growing in size as we had to paint over snow, it was coming down so fast. Yes just in time for Easter. Thanks everyone that came out and supported the club, you can tell everyone of the great snowbowl shoot of 2019. April 28th is fun shoot, see ya all then.
