The green canvas micarta Boker Davis is my favorite knife. I always pocket it and another knife, the second one will be whatever else I decide to tote to go with it. The Case I got to see if the gutting hook would cut through squirrel leg joints, but it has not. I do like the saw being present for cutting tree limbs and such, so it'll get used more as spring and summer occur and I have to work cutting and trimming stuff.

Some really pretty knives there sir, the Boker Davis really looks good ! The cattle patterns (for me) are the most practical EDC tools, the punch can be used in quite a few ways. Thank you for the photos of them.

I came across this knife in my basement the other day. I got it years ago when Skoal had a promotion going on where you sent snuff can lids in for various items.
The sheath smelled musty which made me cringe knowing how Shrades and Old Timers could rust by just looking at them.
To my surprise, the steel was as shiny as when I got it. That's when I noticed the Shrade + on the blade. Googled it and read that some people aren't a fan of the steel, I really don't know that much about it.
I've never used the knife, but I really like the size and the shape of the blade for general farm work. IMG_20190213_132409_kindlephoto-43517746.jpg

I have a Spyderco Para 3 in my Amazon shopping cart but I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. I don't NEED it, but I want it.

Bought a pair of Kershaws, a 2105 orange bone Little Stud and 2120 white bone Macho. 1980's production I think, Olde School Kershaw. AUS 8 blades.

[QUOTE=kisssofdeath;11188577]I won this on GB last week. From what I have researched it was sold to Vietnam soldiers as private sales before going to war. The original knife made and sold was a Hackman but from what I read they couldn't keep up with production and Garcia started making them. It's pretty hefty. I hope to get it on the wicked edge sharpener today. I did use IOSSO bore cleaner to shine it up. Other than stainless I am not sure what the steel makeup is. The blade is 3/16" thick. Chime in if you know anything about this knife. Educate me.

A few weeks ago I picked up this Utica Cutlery pocket knife with custom lettering on the blade. I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding quality at a decent price point for American made.

I picked up two Boker + Titanium, with the Skellern steel blades.
CountryComm.com had them on sale and I have bern wanting to try a Boker knife. As I have been running Benchmade Knives for close to 20 years.
