Very nice gun and a GREAT!! caliber

try Accurate #7. It meters better than AA#9, and will load 180g all the way up to 220g bullets. You are now talking about power equal to a .41 mag.

I would do some research on the recoil spring's power and think about going up one step with a wolff spring.10mm are brutal on frames in 1911s. If it doesn't have a progressive recoil spring get one.

beautiful pistol, I have a few 1911's in 10mm and love them. Here is a pic of my latest. I think I run a 22# spring.

I forgot to mention a EGW flat bottom Firing pin stop on way just not here yet. if the FPS does not slow it down enough will look at jumping to a 22# recoil spring has 20# now

Every now and then I seriously look at the 10mm, and then I glance over at the 460 Rowland and fall in love all over again.

Beautiful pistol! Always wanted a 10mm. Closest I got was a Dan Coonan 1911 in 357 mag. I still have a Sig P220 45acp. My most accurate loads are with slower burning powder like Blue Dot or Longshot with magnum primers.

My first piece was a Colt Delta Gold Cup. Lost it in a burglary shortly after we bought our home in 2010. While I got a ton of dough from the insurance jerks, Id still rather have my Delta.

Recently, my buddy Jack (who found and helped me buy my Gold Cup) willed his stainless Delta Elite to me. Perhaps it is a bookmark as he begins to feel his own mortality. To say it is a mixed blessing would be a gross understatement.

Be well, be happy, be good to each other. 👍👍👍

Blue dot is probably the best powder you have for a 10.... but Universal Clays should be one of your top powders to try if you are seeking accuracy above all else. If you want fireballs, go for some AA#7 and be ready for the

Have two 10mm Autos, a S&W 1006 and a Sig P220. I'd like to get ahold of a Delta Elite at some point, too.

Check out the 10mm firearms forum. A lot of info there, especially with loading ammunition.
