A little retail therapy on the way home from a long week at work. I might have to find an ankle rig for it and carry it as a last chance backup. It came with a .22 WMR and .22 LR cylinder. I bet with that short barrel it is going to be a real flame-thrower with the WMR cylinder.

You said it! I wouldn't want to be nearby w/o hearing protection when you let it off. My Ruger SS is bad enough in .22 mag.

They're a lot of fun Mike. Rather than a holster I went for the folding grip. Carries just like a clip style folding pocket knife. https://northamericanarms.com/shop/accessories/ghg-m/

Shooting one outdoors isn't awful but inside they're BADDDDDD....

I have a Sidewinder and a Ranger II, need to pick up a "regular" one or folder, gave my Son a folder for when he's cycling, fits neatly in a Jersey pocket.

Sidewinder works good, Ranger not so much....

I only have the baby of the family. It's a flame-thrower even in 22Short.

A good friend of mine, god bless his soul, used have a baby like that hanging from a chain around his neck. He was a big man. I asked , what are you gonna do rip the chain of your neck? He said no, this is for when im flat on my back and they are on top of me.

That is really all it is "good for". I bought this because it was "cute" and more in proportion than the others, but having fired 50 rounds from it, at 7 yards towards a 10 x 10 target, only 7 or 8 of those hit the paper.... I have size XL hands, and that's my excuse.

This is my second one, first one the dealer sent back, near impossible trigger pull, didn't want to lock closed....the second is still a very heavy trigger, enough that I'd not trust it much past contact range. Gritty feeling in all operation. There's a reason these are Ranger II's, first one was rift with problems I'm told. Sidewinder works as advertised but not a speedy reload even with the swing out cylinder, can's at 10 yards don't stand a chance.

When new, its not that unusual for a NAA revolver to be a bit rough and gritty. Lube it and shoot the ever lovin dog snot out of it and you'll have a great little gun. I've got a small collection of them, and two if them go back to the mid 1980's, a few are 10 years old, and a couple have been bought just since our move from The peoples republik of Maryland. Even the ones bought in the last few years smoothed out a great deal after a thousand rounds or so.

They make great carry guns, and so small and light that I find myself carrying two of them every day.
