Okay Troutman, here is some groups from the Cooper at 100yds to make you happy since the 17HMR isn't made to be tested at 50yds. These groups were shot on fairly good condition days.

Here's a closer picture of the best one here so you can better see how small the group really is.

The 3 shots on the black dot were my first 3 shots and measure .110ctc. The black dot is .235 in diameter.

I'll post some better ones soon hopefully.

Brad

Very nice indeed Brad, I can well relate to that last group where 3 or 4 shots practically cut each other only to have one or two enlarge the group to a "massive" .346". By the look of those trargets you're getting similar results as I am on a good day. HeHe, keeps you trying though don't it. Good stuff.

FWIW, guys,

here is my best group @ 100 yds with my savage "beast". HAD to be a no wind day, and dont rem what kind of ammo as was trying diff brands. xcept for the flier was xtatic. heck, even with the zinger, was still happy. haven't shot it since, but soon. i know it's not real world as someone put it, and just the one group, but sumpin for me to try and do better, say, 5 groups. a no wind day here is like santa coming once a week. not likely, lol
