I'll be at 8.5 months this week; check cleared 8/2. My timing couldn't have been worse.

My last one was four months, almost to the day.

10 months is pretty common now.

Got my Innovative Arms Slingshot Micro in the last week of January. It was right at 9 months from submission. My dealer tells me the swell of applications in the three months prior to the July 13 fingerprinting requirement died off after that date. "Died" is a key term, because new apps after July 13 went relatively to none. He says the expectation is that approvals should be speeding up in the next month or two when the swell has been worked.

My Son was just cleared, took right about 10 months. We used a trust. I can just picture some little old lady or man with specticles, about 80 years old hunched over in a chair with stacks of papers piled to the ceiling with one dim light bulb hanging down by the cord doing one or two a day.

My check cleared the bank on May 7 last year which makes it almost eleven months for me.

Current jail time!

Stopped by the shop I bought my suppressor from. They said the wait time is still getting longer. Right now they are seeing 10 1/2- 11 months.

What makes the wait hard for me is not knowing how long the wait is going to actually be.

I got two, one from April of '16 and one from late May of '16. My last one was like 10 days after 41 F took effect. I'll get excited when I hear of the first person who gets one post 41F.

That is greatly improved over the eight and nine month waits we recently "enjoyed".
