Is a cloudy day in the Valley, not cool.Hope it would rain but nothing yet.Dentist appointment this AM,Just a cleaning & look see.Dentist keeps wanting to pull a wisdom tooth..Its not causing ME any problems just leave it alone.

Picked up a new cable to run to the printer, will see if that helps getting it to work.

Stopped in a Walmart on my way home, pistol ammo was in short supply in that one.Local store still has good supply. Not that I need any....

Yeah at your age you need to keep all the wisdom you can.

On a serious note did you remove the old printer software.

Look at the scorched concrete and launchers. Then some LT smart A yells, "Get the paint out and get those launchers looking good again."

Back then, it would have been Cuba that needed to pray if nukes were launched.

One County meeting down and Town Board to go.

Splatz, thought you told us that one before. Getting old and your mind is slipping.

Enjoy.

I think he's asking about the trucks and cranes.

Well, at our battery, what I said would happen. Practice firing was at White Sands Missile Grounds. You "built" a missile and then fired it. If we had launched, missiles would be brought in on a ready round transport [special designed 18 wheeler trailer]. Rails were attached to the launcher rails [rails raised on metal frame like railroad rails] and off loaded. Where we were in the Everglades. Pushed into the missile barns crossing over the launchers. Setup [lots of little details making it ready to arm if fired] and booster connected to the main stage by lanyard. Tests run. Other batteries in the USA, went on the launchers. Launchers went down into the under ground storage. Missiles were pushed off the launchers, stored ready for next "event". Three launchers per section. 6 missiles in each barn. Different size warheads on each. 2 nukes. 4 sections at our battery. 4 batteries surrounding Miami. We were the one farthest south and closest to Cuba. In the Whole In The Donut in the Everglades National Park. I can tell about this now [declassified] as there are guided tours at A Battery, 2nd 52nd Artillery [my battery] Army Air Defense Command . I have been told they now tell about the nukes. OH, boosters were OD green and main stages were white. 4 rocket motors on the booster and one on the main stage.

I know you're not serious, but imagine where the misses would end up.

I best friend, Ryan, died today. He was the world's bestest dog and I will miss him forever.

My sincere condolences. Dogs are family, and their loss is felt as much.

Most sorry to read that, A. Jack & I will have a salute to your friend & companion.

To loyalty! And general dogliness and to Ryan!

Nothing easy where you are at the moment; BTDT. I never forget them, but I do eventually get another dog and thank God that I am able to do so. And yet I miss every one of them that passed before me, even now.

I didn't have to with my 2015 Mac.

Sorry about your buddy Atonic.

3 boats are now at my hot spot. I'll show em a new spot and net faux fishes within view, or better yet real ones. Red Wings @ 7:30 lest the fish are uncooperative.
