Speaking of getting spanked....

At the 50 yd range Team A of the clackers came after Team F of the bolties. You clacker people have some serious shooting to do.

Just trying to get a little clacker emotions directed in the right direction.

Unhappy

My click clacks were tryin.

Gee, I had decent X counts in July, but the clackers had a tough time hittin em in August.

In 3d archery we talk about shootin better than ya scored, or scorin better than ya be shootin (no I ain't talkin cheatin either ).

When you are shootin better than your scoring, those line breakers and x's don't go your way, you just dance right close to it.

When your scorin better than your shootin, your cuttin the lines, but thats just it, your cuttin lines when ya want to be drillin em for the points.

My August scores was defineitely a case of scoring better than I felt I was shootin, I was cuttin a lot of lines and workin that plug gauge over for X's. I need to get that lilja figured out this month.

Now the dilema occurs, the Mistress Annie has got her old dress hemmed short and cleaned, and is awaitin some new spectacles from Brunos. She's lookin pretty fine for a heavy gal! She's about dolled up for a date to the range. September just may be the month for Dr. Bolt and Mr. Hyde.

Tenspot,
I'm gonna start mixin' it up and shoot two guns. My trusty Ruger and my BRNO . I put my Tasco 24X on it and got it sighted in last weekend...shows some promise. But I still have to figure out which ammo it likes best. But I don't expect any 250s with it yet.
I have a 250-14X in the bank from last weekend (Ruger) so if I score well with the BRNO it'll just be cake on the icing... JL

Shaken AND Slurred????

Duc, I want a Martini!

JL, I have been shooting two rifles for this since April just to get every ounce of bench time I could possibly get, and hopefully learn from it!!!! Each Click-clack has now broke 250, and the annie is ready to shoot. CHOICES!!!

Just to rub a little more salt in click-clack wounds..........

Like Tenspot said, there were 28 Rugers, 26 Anschutzs, & 13 Suhls turning in 25 Yd scores. (this includes BAB scores, too)

There were 6 of each brand turning in 250's - a heck of a showing for the Suhls since there were twice as many Rugers & Annies in the mix....

If you look at the "Master & "Expert" scores (248 & up), there were 7 Rugers, 12 Anschutz & 9 Suhls - still an awfully strong showing for the Suhls.....
