Our club is just south of Canton on a private range.

Suppressor & NFA friendly. If it's legal, the owner will most likely allow it.

Greenport Tactical Association.

Located just south of Youngstown. Would love to have a RFC shoot in NE Ohio. Ive been shooting an indoor offhand and benchrest casual competition at the Columbiana County Fish and Game Assoc. (http://www.ccfg.us/) Been a lot of fun for the winter months.

First Sat and Sun of the month
there is a great 2 day silhouette pistol shoot just south of Canton in Midvale. See TUSCO.ORG for the particulars and directions. A real state of the art range and has hosted several IHMSA Internationals. Can't be beat and 22s are heavily in attendance.

I'm just south of Canton also. I've never heard of this place but I'm familiar with Midvale. Do they have these every Saturday and Sunday on the first of every month ? I'm very interested in attending.
I use the public range at Harrison State forest. It's great and out in the middle of no where but we have a good time. It's an unsupervised public range first come first serve with 7 benches. It's 120 yards to the mound. I've met people from Washington DC and quite a few from Columbus. It's great bc we have no time limit and most people come there to socialize and get our range fix in. It's a 30 min drive for me to get there but worth it.
We also get the typical people that just leave their mess laying around but they never seem to be there when most of the regulars are there. We always try and make the range looking better than it was before we got there. It's kept up by the ODNR and we would hate to see them shut it down bc of some idiots.
Thanks for the info and if you have some info on your range I'd be interested.

Thanks again !!!

Chas100-sounds like it is maintained by the 'caring' shooters more than the ODNR!!

I always wonder what the slobs vehicles (inside) and their living rooms look like.

I dont know far north you are but we are starting a league. Once a month for 6 mo.
2 classes stock and modified. $5/mo and you only need 50 rounds. Varying ranges from 20-100yds. Laid back good group of people. Not a huge group. Shoot about a 1.5 mile west of st rte 235 on st rte 29. East of sidney

Very close to Ohio Pennsylvania line. Hidden Valley Sportsman's Club, Gilkey Road, West Middlesex, Pennsylvania. 2nd Sunday each month 22 shoot, walk thru the woods, $5 per round. Kids under supervision shoot free. Rifles, scopes or iron sights, pistols. For fun.
google Hidden Valley Sportsman's club for pictures, info.
The location is very close to Interstate 80 and I 376. Next shoot 1/13/2019

I'm up by Camp Perry. The Petrarca Range (100 yard, electronic targets) opens up again in March on Mondays.

I also shoot the Hidden Valley woods walk. It is a fun shoot with great folks. Worth the drive for anyone in NEO.

Add Black Ash and Oil City Woods walks to the list. These are all off hand fun shoots.

Kinsman also has a number of .22 fun shoots. Some are bench rest as well as their off hand shoots.
