Model 60 Disconnector Issues

I’ve got a newer model 60 and about once every couple hundred shots the hammer will follow the bolt forward (no full auto firing). It seems like the bolt might not have pushed the disconnector down enough so the sear stayed forward and the hammer just followed the bolt back forward. After this happens, I can feel the bolt cocking the hammer when I charge it to the next round. Anyone experience this with a 60 or 795 or similar? Could it be an issue with the disconnector?

won't say it's common but check youtube videos on m60 action maintenance.

Have you dis-assembled the action? Maybe the disconnector has 'slipped under' the sear 'arm' that it pushes on. It may be stuck in that forward position? If you're missing one of the E-clips that could cause the sear to be loose and result in this ??

The disconnector seems to be moving freely, and no missing e clips. I think I’ve fixed it though. What I did was file just a bit of material off the bottom of the arm on the sear that the disconnector pushes on. Thinking this would make it easier for the disconnector to slide under the sear arm so the hammer can reset properly. I did this because I noticed that when I make the bump on top of the disconnector flush with the top of the side plate, the disconnector was still able to contact the sear arm very slightly. So far so good, but I’ve only tested about 300 rounds without this issue. I’ll update this post if my issue happens again.
