Flat spit on ejected sa22 brass

When casings are ejected from my sa22, they have a flat spot on one side of the casing mouth that is quite prominent. I never noticed it before, but then again donít pay much attention to spent 22 brass.

The barrel is tight, the action is smooth, the extractor looks like new. The gun is running perfect. Iím just more curious than anything if this is normal, or indicative of a future problem that can be prevented.

Thanks

Don't touch it! It is probably a dent from impact on the receiver when ejected, but obviously not an issue.
