Out of all my 10/22's the most accurate one just so happens to have a Feddersen 16.25" .920 fluted barrel. I haven't tried R50, Center X, or Midas + in it yet, but I have tried several other brands. As far as what has shot the absolute best for me it is Federal GM Ultramatch. I shoot mostly @100 yards from the bench and have gotten several 5 shot groups in the low .2's. As far as stuff that shoots decent and is good enough for 1/2" groups SK Pistol Match, Rifle Match, & Magazine are usually good enough. If you go down to cheaper stuff you can still get pretty good results from stuff like Norma Tac22, Geco SA, and Eley Target. For just plinking most of the cheap Federal stuff will do ok in the Feddersen barrels but your not going to get much as far as consistency from box to box, or even mag to mag.

Thank you everyone for your input. Still waiting on my chassis but I Modified my stock to fit the new barrel and did some testing. I tested 10 brands and came up with 4 that work well. Test was done at 50 yrds from the bench using my pack as rest. I ordered some SK, fed gold medal and some center x to try. But first I am get head space done and trigger lightened. I really like the CCI SV for practice rounds. It shoots well and can be purchased at most stores in the area. Thanks again all 👍

Sometimes you find the right brand that shoots great out of your rifle. Then you buy another bunch and it is not so good. Different lot numbers can also make a difference. Learned this shooting IR 50/50.

interestingly, i was doing some testing with my feddersen and my silencerco sparrow. this barrel doesnt shoot sk/lapua as well as eley without the suppressor. however, with the suppressor the sk was really shooting well.

I thought that was exceptional ammo, then I realized my rifle just isn't that picky. It was slightly better than Federal bulk.
