Question BB magazines

Log in to see fewer ads
Anybody have preferences to either a 5 or 10 round magazine?
I have a BB inbound and wanted to get extra magazines.

Any problems with either size?
How far do the 10 rounders stick out as compared to the 5?

Thanks for any help.

BI 7-2KO with 10-Round Magazine

BI 7-2KO Basic .22WMR Rifle ... In Classifieds

gmd1950's has some good pictures of a BI 7-2KO with a 10-round magazine.

If you are going to fire your BI 7-2 off a sandbag,
the 10-round magazine could easily be snagged on the sandbag rest.

While a 5-round mag will be flush with the underside of the rifle stock.
It will not snag.

Thanks

one other thing
...I asked about where to get them (and you have linked the post to this)
....is there a price difference between the two?

Admittedly I have not called around yet, but thought I'd ask about your experience.

Has anyone done business with this firm?

When I talked to Clyde from RAAC,
I was told to contact then for various parts,
since they stock other items Izhmash produces.

Once again, good find AzizaVFR.
I certainly hope the company stays in-business
and expands their product line.

Do you stock spare parts and accessories for Russian American Armory firearms?
When I receive an answer I will post it.

I'm a little confused

AOM22, I'm a little confused.

Are you worried that those mags shown on the Saiga Stock site aren't for the BB?

They sure look like BB mags to me, and the manufacturer is identified as "Izhmash."

Or do you just want to make sure there's "somebody home" at that website?

This is exactly what I'm wondering.
Reputable business ... open for internet commerce?

I posted the images to show what they were advertising and pricing.
And, yes ... they do appear to be BI 7-2 magazines.

I sent them an email to "press to test".
Waiting for a response.

Makes sense.
I'm following this thread because I'd like an extra mag or two for my BB.

The price seems reasonable,
but maybe my sense of price is out of whack
because I just paid $72 to get an extra mag for my Sako Finnfire.

As

usual, I received a couple "thank you for joining us" messages and an order number and confirmation page to print...

So far, looks like any other site for a first time buyer...

Shipping was $8.95 but that is not out of line with most places I buy from today...

And I have to weigh that cost with other choices like driving 80 miles round trip to a gunshow ($8.00 for my vehicle), paying $7.00 to get in and maybe or maybe not finding exactly what I want or need......

Anyway, as the guy who just jumped from the top of the Empire State building was heard to say as he passed each floor on the way down "So far; so good".

Saiga Stock magazine on the way...

My card was charged 11/19/08 and the item shipped on 11/21/08....seems about the same time to process and ship as other online sites...

will let you know how it looks and functions when it arrives...

So far, its like dozens of other online transactins I have been involved in...
