10/22 Chassis options?

Log in to see fewer ads
Gents...I'm looking to "tactical" and lighten my 10/22. I didnt like the 10/22 "ar" chassis floating around but I came across a chassis called an Rival Arms R-22 and I think I like it, but I can't find a weight listed for it. Then I started seeing others I like, like the PMACA units. I think their lightweight version is 12oz but I dont like the short length of it.
What other options do I have? I do not like the units that curve the stock downwards either.

KIDD

ORYX

CRAZY IVAN

SPECTER BALLISTICS

MIDWEST INDUSTRIES

ENOCH INDUSTRIES

PDC CUSTOMS

MCREES

Most of them are not lightweight though, but the IVAN is, particularly the Comp Chassis, and they come in great colors:

I think the Oryx chassis is the best, but it is not a light weight chassis and is more of a BR configuration.

Actually thinking of grabbing one, but I am having too many expenses lately; e.g., tax payment and new car purchase, lol!

I use the Accurate Rifle Systems 10/22 chassis; it's heavy at 6.4 lbs and starts out at $500.00 but it's awesome for my purpose.

Take a look at PAMCA manufacturing. They might have something you'll like.

I just got my R-22, and I think it's just about exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a solid place for my fore-hand, but I did not want something with a full AR-style handguard. For me it was a toss-up between the R-22 and the PAMCA, and I hadn't seen either one in person.

I think they quote a weight of 1lb. The only 'surprise' so far is that you need an AR grip without the beaver tail extension, or cut it off like I did.

But I'm still waiting for my receiver, so I haven't got it put together into a complete rifle yet.

Nice, that's more of a stock than a chassis tho. I have a magpul already which looks very similar (blasphemy! lol) I'm looking more for like a aluminum chassis. Still a nice unit you got there!

Grey Birch Solutions out of Canada has a new alum chassis, the Foundation. Is available as a fold down.

Should have some dealers in the US already set up as well.

Has a rear tang hold down screw that pinches down on your trigger group as a rear hold down.
