Hi Chuck
I never seen or shot this one before.
How does scoring go?
10-9-8-7 best edge?
Completely take out center dot for 10?

Scoring
Scoring will follow ARA scoring guidelines.
15. Scoring of Targets
15.1. Scoring rings with various values are included within each scoring box, and
the values of shots in those boxes are 100 points, 50 points, 25 points, 10
points and 0 points.
15.2. Scoring is based on the worst edge scoring method. A bullet hole that
breaks a line is given the lower value.
Will refine this for next months rules.

Lee I would think it would be MSRP. You may have a in with a gun shop that lets you buy a gun for their cost, whereas Joe has to buy his at retail and his cost is over the limit. Not quite fair to ole Joe.
You could always go with the unlimited class.
Hope you understand.

Chuck, Ok understood. when you I could go unlimited are you going to have a unlimited?
what are rules on that rifle wise? as long as it is a factory mass produced rifle.
I shoot RFBR and we have 4 classes
1; called at thrifty $450.00 or less straight of the rack no mods even trigger. no tuner 2-piece rest or bi-pod
2: Factory class $600.00 limit on rifle cost. mods allowed factory replacement barrels and trigger work as well as stock bedding ok. no tuner
2-piece rest or bi-pod
3: Super factory $601+ on rifle cost. mods allowed as long as it is a factory rifle barrel replacement is ok, trigger work, etc. no tuner
2-piece rest or bi-pod
4: unlimited anything goes
so what is the limitations for unlimited in these matches you would like to get started?
can I shoot a factory Anschutz match 54 off a 1-piece? what about a H&R M12 with a custom barrel?

Entry 2-25-2021
Shot on second trip to range with this rifle, well with this barrel anyway.
Factory, 25yds.
Chuck40219
CZ 457 AtOne 24" barrel, Winchester bulk.
Small green front rest, Protektor rear rest, BSA 4-12 power AO scope, setting this gun up to shoot in the monthly CZ 25 yard open/scoped match, hosted here at RFC. Two of the rules for that match is a 9 pound weight limit and max scope power of 9X.
Weather: outdoors, bout froze, don't do cool weather well anymore. 47*, wind: N 7 mph, sunny. I was in the shade, range officer sat in the sun. Said he was warm, wanted to know why I was cold.
Excuses: Had not shot for a month, less than 200 rounds through this barrel, using bulk ammo that was at least 7 years old, shivering, range officer keep bugging me. Can't think of any more excuses right now.
Equipment setup, photo not taken today but the first time I took the gun to the range.
Offending ammo.

OnTarget data.

I don't mean to be picky but, is the $1000 limit when the gun was purchased or current prices; and what if the gun is no longer produced? Is it the MSRP of the last version produced? I just want to be clear on the fine points.
For example a Remington Model 37 in 1937 had an MSRP of $69.95 according to this article: http://looserounds.com/2020/02/11/th...gton-model-37/

When was the last time Remington suggested a manufacture retail price for the 37?
Regarding the last version produced, if Winchester still produced the 52's. We would not assume the cost basis for a 52B to be the same as a 52D would we? Just because collectors push the value up does not increase the MSRP.
I am trying to keep this simple guys.

Sorry Chuck, I didn't mean cause you distress. I'm looking forward to this and hope it succeeds beyond your expectations.
We have ten days of rain scheduled but there may be enough breaks in the downpours to try a couple of cards. Thanks for starting this.

Unlimited
Jack/Shorty123
40X, SK+, XXXX
Front rest and rear bag
50 and cloudy and 12-15 MPH
Thanks Chuck
No score as it is just a net printed practice target. I don't know how accurate it is.
Glad I didn't score it Chuck. I finally figured out the way to print the one you supplied and it has a .030" smaller 100 ring.
