I am an old farm boy. If it is not hi velocity or hollow point, it is target/plinking ammo.
I think what you call target ammo, I would call match ammo.
Best,
Gary

Ordered six of the CCI Tactical 22 from Basspro--pick up at store save on shipping
I am 45 miles from the store but will be worth it 1800 rounds
Well...get an email from them days after order is accepted saying they canceled 4 of the 6 so two will be Fedexed to the store in about 10 days I can pick up then--Duh?! They could have Fedexed it to me--Now I have to take that drive for just 2 boxes
crummy way to do folks--my first time ordering from them
think it may be my last

In today’s paper is a flyer for my local sportsman’s warehouse indicating aguila for 29 bucks a brick. They have stung me before by advertising things with no stock in the store, so when the sale starts we will see. I expect a 1 brick per person limit, and for it to be sold out in a couple hours.

Stopped by one of my “old school” dealers here in town today. He has decided to limit purchases based on stock on hand and “spreading the wealth “ so everyone can get at least some. 2 100 round packs cci minimags under $7 per 100. Wished I could have bought 10 boxes, but hopefully can go back once a week and keep adding To my stash. I shot about 250 rounds today, so a 200 round purchase doesn’t even replace my weekly consumption rate.
A local chain store ad claimed a sale with brick stone of aguila at $29 each starting tomorrow, but since I work doubt whatever supply they have will last more than an hour even with a one brick per customer limit

I got bit once by them. Two hour drive to find out they didn't have what I bought on the internet. They just shrugged their shoulders and said sorry. So it may be best to call first.

Two hour drive for a couple of lousy 22lr rounds?? You must be hard up. Anyway, this is a nearly for sure thing. I've done several of these ship to store only and never a problem. Yes, you always call them after you receive your email that it has arrived. I do it even when the store is only 15 minutes away. I tell them about it and ask to have someone check the store room to make sure my box is there. Not just what it says on their computer screen. They've always done that for me. I've bought a fair amount of 9mm the past couple of months from them this way.

For the penny pinchers out there, go to Raise.com to buy a gift card. Today they have an extra 6% promo code, PRESALE, making the SW gift card actually 9.5% off. Remember the 2% AJ also. 115% off.

It was a screaming good deal on the Federal Black Box and we needed something to do that day anyway. Sunshine, warm air and the top down, baby! Hit the Cabelas in Wheeling on the way back so it wasn't a total loss.

If you are talking about the Black Box deal with the rebates, yes it was, esp. for 223 and 9mm which I bought. Didn't need any 22lr.

Wish I had a Wayback machine to buy more. I think I bought 4000 of the 9mm. Long gone.

I was looking for something else in my old posts at a different forum and came across this. I posted this on 11-11-18. Take me back with you when you go.

That 9 mm deal at Brownel's is listed again below. Using code NBM for a $10 off on that $99.99 box of 500 Black Label Blazers, with a $20 mail in rebate, it comes to $69.99 delivered, or 14 cpr. A very fair deal.

Same deals for the 22lr and 223's. Here's the 22lr for 2 cpr delivered.

If you are a fan of Federal 22 lr hp’s, Cabela’s will be having a sale on their Black Label box of it. It’s in their flier. The 1600 round box is $80, reduced to $60. Use gift cards if you still have them (20%) will bring it down to $48. Use the Fed rebate of $20 to bring it to $28. AJ is anther buck or so. $27 for 1600 rounds. Under 2 cpr. Plus tax for some.

The rebate is good on 5 boxes of many different calibers. This is the same as I mentioned above.
