I would really enjoy shooting in some matches, even informal matches for fun but can't seem to find any in this area to participate in...

Not real sure I'd call NRL "precision", more like "position" type matches. It's great for learning to shoot at a lot of positions that could be encountered. Precision and its expected results can really vary depending on the game your playing.

The option of NRL, at 65 it's not the easiest form of competition for me although I do some PRS rimfire at Rayner's. Most of the matches we participate in are LR and ELR rimfire which is easier for us older shooters. NRL/PRS is great for the younger crowd and anything to keep their interest in shooting/guns is great.
