If your accuracy is not good with 22LR , I would switch guns and stick with 22LR.
If you switch calibers, I promise no other caliber will have the selection or choice of ammo.
Get a better gun is my suggestion.
i recently put a 17m2 whistle pig barrel on my RPR , super accurate and cut a ton of weight off. Very nice rig to carry hunting now, way to heavy before to pack through the woods.
i haven't actually measured any groups, i sight all my guns in at 35 and can put 10 rounds in about a dime sized hole. head shot squirrels out to 80 with no problem. I've been very impressed. The gun is a little bigger and more awkward to carry compared to my Tbolt or Ruger M77 but is still a nice hunting rifle.
