SPG Lube Bleeding in Hot Weather
Yesterday when checking a few things and preparing to load some BPCR rounds I noticed the SPG lube that had been hand lubed on cast projectiles 2 months previously had started to bleed a yellow colour. Suspect this is the Bees Wax component due to the colour. I had them stored in a sealed bag in my shed that does get quite warm during the summer months. Rounds not sealed and loaded had not done the same so I suspect the sealed bags are not the ideal way to store lubed projectiles? Steve Garbe recommends this is the way to store lube (as it comes this way when delivered) when not being used. Any thoughts on how best to avoid the bleeding would be greatly appreaciated!
