This was after 500 rounds and cleaned within a few days. The oil was applied a few days before the range trip. The residue was like sludge and wiped off easily. They cleaned up in about 5 minutes with one paper towel and a few Q-Tips.
This was another instance where I shot the can for a year and then cleaned it, so much more than 500 rounds. This time the rear two thirds of the baffles were completely dry and the front third of the baffles were still a little moist. The moist ones were easier to clean but even the dry one cleaned up with a small wire brush. The baffle in front with the shiny spot was given one pass with the brush.
