I have recently acquired a model 37 and would like some help identifying some things. The barrel has a date code in the usual place. It has 3 horizontal lines a diamond 2more horizontal lines then CTT. The opposite (left) side says 22 long rifle with a number 6 where barrel meets the action. The action has the serial number 07522. The curious part is that there are no other markings on the gun at all. No Remington no model number nothing. Since it's in a custom stock I assumed it was an aftermarket barrel but then why the date code stamp? Think anyone could shed some light on this. Any info would be appreciated Thank you.
