Bobbed barrel?

Maybe catalog # P45GMK3PRRP. That would make it Model # 10149. I think the original barrel was 4.5" -- that one looks shorter than that -- and it was threaded.

Got the model number from Ruger.com. Also, no sign of alteration (or cleaning, for that matter).

Congratulations! Have you had a chance to test shoot it? It is very interesting, never seen one with that short of a barrel. That would be a nice one for my collection! Enjoy it...

That's a P4MKIIIPRRP.

22/45 MK3, blue 4-inch bull barrel, replaceable grips, no sights - just a rail.

Not terribly common, but not really popular either because of no sights. Gander Mountain sold some with red dots. Don't know who else may have.

I'd never heard of or seen one before, but I got a decent enough price ($272.50 OTD) that I figured I'd be OK.
