Just came across this on their website, i'm sure most of you know about it but here it is for those that don't. I think its a great idea and wish more manufactures would have this feature. I dropped the suggestion of them to come out with their single shot in 45 colt.

I second this idea. Would make a good companion for the 30 carbine Ruger Blackhawk, with less flash & noise. Randy

My idea of the perfect Henry .22LR would be based on the H001T Frontier with Octagon barrel, Checkered Stock, Bright Silver Receiver and Barrel Band.

A checkered stock on the .22LR Golden Boy or Silver Golden Boy would also be a thing of beauty.

The only checkered stocks I’ve seen are on .22 Magnum Henrys.

Few weeks ago I suggested the single shot in 22 hornet. Hope to see that.

Classic w/ fancy wood and either a case-hardened or blued steel receiver cover. Octagon barrel would be nice too, but a proper receiver cover and good wood alone might be enough to attract 9422 & 39A fans like me who don't care for the Golden Boy style and find the H001 a little too plain to induce the same level of desire.

Brownell’s sells a spray paint that is supposed to look like bluing and might be a good way to touch up a scratched Henry receiver.

Might be a good idea if someone at Brownell’s did one and slipped in a picture here.

Ive emailed Henry before.

Make a steel reciever cover that is blue or case hardened as an aftermarket offering. Barrel band too.
They will sell at profitable price points.

Also offer the Ash smooth bore furniture as an aftermarket part as well.

Personally I would buy the Evil Roy rifle if the stock wasn't lazer etched. Too much flair for my interests. Really like that rifle though.

I suggested a take down lever carbine with threaded 16.5" barrel in 22lr. Backpacker/Survival special. I have a Ruger Takedown and Charger with a folding brace but I want something that will handle any 22 rimfire like CCI Quiets or shorts. I have a single shot but I want more capacity.
Marlin had the 39 in take down but now it is custom shop. Just missed a really nice carbine at the last gun show. The seller got to a dealer before I saw it and he took it home for his personal collection.

LGS has quit carrying the Henrys, special order only, too many QC complaints. Just the messenger folks. They say Henry always fixes them but close to 50% end up going back.
