Bedding Rear of Trigger

Is it a good idea to bed the rear of the 10/22 trigger where in contacts the stock on the underside ? Would this allow one to free float the barrel if the trigger is bedded in this area ? Thanks in advance

I do the rear with all my bedding/pillar work as all of my builds free-float the barrel.

Thats exactly what I was looking for, thanks RCP phx, so you can successfully float the barrel by doing the bedding on the trigger ? I do have over size trigger pins so the trigger is solid.
