Savage Mark II Cerakote

Got a rust spot on my .17 that I had to ruin the finish to get it all off the barrel. Was going to get it blued but a guy at work had a Cerakote connection and so I decided for a whole new look. I canít decide if I like it or if I want the scope rings done also. The guy said he thought it looked better this way but would be glad to paint those too. What do you guys think?

I like it. Been wanting to do the same thing with one of my rifles.

I shot it the other day to rezero the scope and got a squib round stuck in the barrel. Iíve never had one before which led to me realizing I donít have a .17 rod to get the bullet out. So now Iím waiting for amazon to get here.

I like the paint scheme but the guy that applied it didnít tape off the inside of the chamber and the breach has cerakote in it. Not sure how Iím gonna get it off.
