Come to think of it, I'm hungry and I believe that'll be what's on the menu!
Somehow the Spam with mayo just doesn't sound cricket to me. Mustard maybe.

You might be surprised. It doesn't take much, and it's good.

Now, as it happens, I only ate half of the can of Hickory Smoked Spam. I'll try some mustard on it tomorrow. I'm counting on you to be a man of great taste who gave me a great tasting idea!

Not sure how the mustard will go with the eggs over easy........

My Dad and my two uncles went to their grave hating spam and powdered eggs. Ate too much of it in WWII. Anytime Dad was around scrambled eggs he would ask "That ain't those %%%%ed scrambled eggs is it?'

Some scientists are saying that nitrated meats are suspected as playing a roll in cancers of the digestive system and other bad things.

Probably true. People were nitrating meats 1000s of years ago, and all them guys are dead...

My Dad a Korean War Vet loved Spam, so I ate a lot of it as a kid and always liked it fried with eggs, or on a sandwich.

I was at the grocery store yesterday....what did I pick up, yep a couple cans of Spam.

I like it but don't eat it on a regular basis. For those that haven't found/seen it they make an individual packaged slice that works great when all you want is one sandwich.

Back when I was just a wee plinker mom used t make a baked spam with slices of pineapple and whole cloves. Was actually quite tasty, but then I liked Spam then and still do.

My favorite way of fixing Spam is slicing it about 1/4" thick, fry until crispy around the edges, throw it between a couple slices of bread with a slice of 'merican cheese and a little mustard. Yum! Every once in a while we'll make what we call a Monty Python. Spam, eggs, sausage, baked beans, and Spam. And of course The Boss has to do her "I don't like Spam!" bit while we're cooking.

The spousal unit said her tribe liked it fried when she was a yute but no worries of me ever seeing it ever again.

I buy brown sugar smoked cured sliced ham for my daily lunch salad, wife's sandwiches, and occasionally fried on the side with eggs n toast as a treat.

Yep! Raised on the stuff, liked it, tried some a few years back, didn't like it so much, but I may try the low sodium kind again. Corned beef, the same...just not like I think I remember it.
The Good Lady Wife is from Idaho, I don't think she ever tasted it, but she doesn't like it, or Lamb, but all of the other stuff she cooks is marvelous, so I don't complain much!
