I am looking at C-Mores for my new rimfire steel challenge guns I want. Is there a reason or benefit with the taller rail series C-Mores you are using vs the shorter RTS2 series?

Thanks

The advantage to the Railway C-More is the availability of replaceable dots. I use 12 MOAs in my sights. I don't think the RTS2 series allows dot replacement, but I could be wrong.

I seen these on the rugerforum and love them. First time venture for me into modification of a Mark IV so I have a question.
For first time venture into the rabbit hole what is the best model Mark IV to start with? What lower?

You can send the RTS2 in to C-More and they will change out the the MOA board for a fee plus shipping.

How does the Ruger upper compare to the VQ in terms of accuracy?

I found the Volquartsen LLV-4 to be more accurate than the stock barrel on my Mark IVs. I don't have the exact numbers but I'd say the LLV-4 is capable of 3/4 to 1/2 the size groups as the stock barrel, depending on the ammo.

Both shoot well enough to be competitive.

Thanks.

I can't remember where I got those stands. I think it's Unique Tactical, but I found a lot more on E-Bay last time I looked.
