I've had mine for about a month. I've put maybe 500 or 600 rounds through it so far. I initially had an issue with one of the magazines, but a friend figured out what was wrong. The follower was installed incorrectly (probably done at the gun shop and not Ruger). It now shoots 100% with its favorite ammo (CCI mini mag and Remmington golden bullets), and only a rare FTF or FTE if I use something else. I'm happy.

I have experienced two consistent issues with the SR-22 pistols. The first issue is a failure to eject of a spent cartridge from the chamber. The second is a successful ejection of the spent cartridge but then I there is a fail to feed for the next live round. it only happens once every hundred rounds or so. FWIW I also have experienced the same issue with the Mark series pistols, even with a performance extractor upgrade. All chambers have been polished to a 600 grit finish. Since the SR-22 is not used for defense purposes I can live with it. I actually use the malfunctions to train new defensive shooters.

My SR22 was purchased not long after the take down thingy problem was solved. It has had not one problem. The only time it doesn't fire is the result of a dud round and they are usually produced by Winchester or Federal.

I'm not a very accurate shooter with it but I have the same problem with my other short barreled handguns. After installing a red dot sight on the SR22 I found I am much more accurate with it. It's more a shooter problem with short sight radius and iron sights than with the gun.

FIL bought one and it was problematic.
Sent it back to Ruger and their excellent customer service had it back and running like a Honda in short order.

Respect to Ruger
