Anyone know of a 10/22 chassis that take AR-pattern handguards, OTHER than the Crazy Ivan?

Thanks in advance.

ATI makes one that takes a standard AR handguard. But its antwon piece plastic chassis around the receiver sent only fits a stock shaped receiver. Most aftermarket ones wont fit without fitment.

Also Old Fort Arms makes a chassis that takes an AR style but I believe the handugard selection is limited. That's due to all AR manufactures using different pitch threads/lengths on the OD of the barrel but of an AR.

I had the first gen of the ATI and it was a great plinker. But then converted that gun to a VQ receiver so the ATI stock went bye bye. Later I converted to a Slide Fire chassis and bump stock before I had to sell the stock due to the ban. That was also a fun rannge toy and got lots of looks and can I try it questions.

If you want AR/tactical looks I'd point you to Enoch Industries chassis. Or the PMACA or Midwest Industries. All are nice pieces and offer a lot of different options.

Thank you. I’ll live at OFA. I spent a couple hours researching online last night. It’s surprisingly had to find one that has a pic rail attachment over the top of the receiver that runs flush with a pic rail handgun I.e. no gap in the top rail. And made of metal.

Crazy Ivan is close, but I dislike the look of the back of the receiver.

I have a 6-inch 17hm2 barreled Charger that’s screaming to be turned into an MCX style SBR.

KNS makes a piece that threads into buffer tube threads and makes it a 1913 rail.

Also Kak makes a piece that clamps onto a 1913 and had buffer tube threads.

So either way you can convert from one pattern to another. Several companies make side folder versions of each too. Also companies make AK/AR grip adapters which people use on an AR style 10/22.

Good luck in your build. I'm awaiting parts for my next one. It is always $$$!

On a 10/22 I think it closes the gap between the trigger guard and grip better.
