I own both. The Vudoo V-22 is an entirely differrent class than the CZ457 MTR.

I rebarrelled the 457 with a Lilja and put it in an MPA chassis. It can now run a little bit with the Vudoo, but the Vudoo is still the better shooter.

One Mans Opinion

I have several .22's (CZ and Savage) and have been impressed with both but after shooting the Vudoo, it is a quantum leap up from other rimfires.

I actually received my Vudoo Ravage (18" Kukri, Grayboe stock with adjustable cheek riser) on Friday and got out to the range today. My first 4 groups (5 shot groups) were:
Group 1 -.57 @50 Yards (Wolf Target Match)
Group 2 -.63 @50 Yards (Wolf Target Match)
Group 3 -.52 @50 Yards (Wolf Target Match)
Group 4 -.44 @50 Yards (Wolf Target Match)

Winds were gusting 10-17 mph. This was the only ammo I tried so I may find that there are others that may shoot better but I was impressed with the accuracy right out of the box. The action was a little stiff but that will smooth out over time as with most rifles.

My savage TR shoots almost as well but I have spent a year with it testing ammo etc. I fully expect this rifle to be a .35 rifle in the near future. That is my experience thus far and while it is a very small data set it mirrored what many posters have said about their vudoo's out of the box

Vudoo says their rifles are chambered for Lapua / SK family.

Mine averages 0.28" ar 50 yards with Midas +..

I was shocked/ dismayed to hear the cz with a lilja barrel in a chassis does not equal or come Very close. Would you mind sharing what kind of groups at 50 with that set up?
I was considering this very project so extremely interested
Thanks

My best from the CZ 457 w/ Lilja was a 25 shot avg grp of 0 .29" c-t-c at 50 y. Using Tenex @ 1080 fps

The Vudoo best was 0.23 with Midas +. Its not a big difference... until its on an ARA target.

For reference... I got $1,900 in the Lilja. And $2,600 in the Vudoo.

FWIW... both the Vudoo and Lilja 457 were match winners against a buncha Anschutz, Coopers, Sakos and tricked out 10/22s. The Lilja flat out shoots.

Its more about finding the right ammo and cleaning regimen. And practice, practice, practice.

I have some SK Pistol Match but went with the Wolf. I will be trying others to be sure.

.28 group are awesome but is probably above my skill level. The Vudoo is capable of more than I will wring out of it but it is nice to know when the groups are not great I know who (me) is responsible.

I have both, first purchased a CZ455 Tacticool and added a Lilja barrel after I had it for a month. I also added the "yo-Dave" trigger kit. I won several local rimfire PRS style matches with that rifle. Then I bought the Vudoo, 20" Bartlein barrel, what a animal! Built like a full size rifle, handles great and shoots like a rocket. For food when it's hungry, mine prefers Center X or Midas. Scoring first round hits out to 300yds is not a problem. One of the nice things about a Vudoo is the ability to use full size trigger groups from Timney or TriggerTech. Full size stocks are plentiful, you can build it to your liking. The Vudoo is a little bit more money, but it's worth every penney.
