Its been almost a year now. Started its life as a 10/22 tactical with threaded barrel. Shot great.

Upgraded the fireing pin, extractor, and bolt release with volquartsen. Bought a UTG picatiny rail and scope rings and got rid of the factory weaver. Nikon rimfire ii 3-9x with that sweet bdc reticle. Ruger bx trigger with an aftermarket billet trigger. Tacsol mag release. Magpul hunter stock. I have this stock on other rifles and shotgun and i love it. Extended bolt handle. A UTG recon bipod. And replaced the factory flash hider with a comp that matches to factory barrel perfectly. Its come along way in 9 months. Easily my favorite rifle and accurate. 10rnd groups the size of my thumb at 50yrds.
The only thing i would do next would be a nice barrel.

After searching around for awhile, i stumbled across it on ebay. Its made by atomic arms. I would get the matte black if i could go back and buy it again. I bought the gloss black. O well.

I don't think you could go wrong with either a Fedderson or a Kidd Barrel .Lots of options including threaded barrels. I have several of each and have never been disappointed with the accuracy always under a half MOA on either barrel.

+1. Also you might want to get some lower rings for your scope. That looks like quite a stretch from the stock. If you had it lower it would probably be easier for you to get a consistent cheek weld when shooting of the bench. Never mind, I was looking at the picture in the original stock. It sits lower in the Magpul. Plus you can always add one of the risers if you need to.

I like it. Except for the muzzle device and mag release. But that's only because matte black is my favorite color. Lol.

Might need to build one up with the Magpul stock.

Thanks. Ive been looking into barrels lately. Volquartsen or a tacsol xring atm but that could change. I dunno. I dont like to shoot expensive ammo. It would ruin the fun of how great the 10/22 is for me if id have to buy higher priced ammo to get accuracy. Im searching for something thats gonna be killer with the standard, but not limited to just standard ammo. If that maes sense
