I was at my FFL's place the other day and he had one, it is one of the later models made under license, in the wooden Winchester marked box. These fire 10 gauge blanks, which are very loud, by the smoke they appear to be black powder. I asked him to think of me should he decide to sell it. Who doesn't need another cannon?

Cool! Wish I had got one years ago before everything got too 'collectable' to afford.

Yeah, they are pricy. We haven't discussed price yet, Ben has always been quite fair about that sort of thing. They list for over $600. He's actually bought and sold it a few times. I have a Traditions cannon, it makes a great display piece.

I had a golf ball swivel gun and a 2 1/8" bore field carriage scale cannon some years back. With good packing the big gun gave great salutes with only a 35mm film can of black powder. Shot potatoes pretty well too I should have kept the swivel. Sometimes a boy just wants to pop off a cannon

My interest in cannons goes back to when my parents took my sister and I to Gettysburg in our childhood. I bought a book on cannons there.
