Has anyone purchased from Azimuth Technology? I signed up that I was interested and was supposed to be contacted by a representative, but I have not heard from them.

Couldn’t say but it looks like they’re a new start up
with an intended product launch date of 1/20/19...
Plenty of things could cause the delay.

I’m definitely interested in the price of their receivers.

Tactical Machining filled a nice niche when they were offering CNC machined 10-22 receivers for $79.99, which was a much better starting point for builds than buying a $230 Ruger/Walmart special, only to remove and sell off 50-90% of the original rifle, with take off parts that are losing resale value in the flooded aftermarket.

The SHOT show is this week, so they are probably at the show.

That’s certainly something I was looking for when my son and I started our bug out build of a takedown.

Are they offering take down receivers? I only saw the ‘standard' being advertised, with an integral rail, nice touch.

Based on their website they are not a start up. They MFG AR barrels and BCG’s along with pistol slides and barrels. I think they have been in business for awhile. I’m most interested in their receivers as well as they use 7075 aluminum.

ETA: they are new to the 10/22 game which is what Dr. G may have been implying.

I sent an email just this week (2-12-19) and have not heard a word. That will not get my business. Nobody is that busy.

I received my barreled action (including Bolt and handle) 2 weeks ago and am waiting for a return authorization. Poor accuracy, bore scope reveals threads near the muzzle are distorted and the rest of the barrel does not look too good either. I'll post results. New to forum and unsure if this post will make it.

I'd recommend that you mount it in a proven stock/receiver & go shoot it with some decent ammo....then report the results.

Visual inspection without performance results ain't worth much....

Break it in.... shoot for accuracy....then post the results...

I've put 125 rounds thru their barreled action, and so far so good. I see a lot of potential here. There's a long way to go, but so far accuracy is good.

Azimuth Technology !

THis company has been around in Naples Fl for at least 47 years starting out as Engineering Research making items from land mine body's to 50cal barrels in the early days and for the most part always built products for military needs . I know my dad did the electric in there first florida building .

So if an item for the consumer market is not readily avalible figure it may have something to do with other more important contract obligations !! Retail sale would be rather new to them .

Bio of the Fonder-

For the price they're asking for their barrelled actions I'd have to see some much better targets than that before I give them a serious look.
