I do own and shoot both RART and MK1FVT, in somewhat modified condition, some bedding, Provarmint stocks, and trigger work I did at home.
I thought the RAR trigger better in every aspect over the MK1FVT. With just some cleaning and polishing and a pen spring in the RAR trigger it breaks clean, crisp at 1.5 pounds. The Savage needed shimming to lessen the creep, springs for trigger pull and removal of the Accu-trigger blade to use a shoe to achieve a similar trigger feel. Yes I did thorough testing for safe operations on both. Both passed without trouble.
Never understood the complaints over the RAR trigger. KM
