Question 513T Stuck Bolt

Log in to see fewer ads
Re-inserting, bolt stops about 1/64" short of being able to rotate to lock down. Will not budge further forward. Will not retract out to rear; moves about 1/4" back and forth.
Tried moving bolt while moving safety simultaneously, while pressing trigger simultaneously. While standing on one foot and whistling dixie…
Nothing.
Thoughts?

Did the bolt become uncocked while out of the receiver. I've had that happen on a couple different brands of bolt actions over the years.

Not sure if you can see it from this photo, but it appears to my unexpert eye that the cocking cam might be in the 'middle' position, maybe between cocked and uncocked? Whatever's the case, I am unsure how to resolve it.

Yes it looks like it's not cocked. Heres a pic of what it looks like out of the gun cocked and I found a thread on how it was resolved. Good Luck.
