Talking Cheap Holster

Anyone know where I can pick up a cheap holster for a Ruger Mark 1 with 6 inch barrel?

It doesn't have to be fancy. Just something I can use to carry the pistol when I am out at the farm.

Do you mean a 6 7/8 inch taper barrel? Ruger made that, and the 5 1/2 inch heavy barrel.

Uncle Mike's lists size 6 for a 5 1/2 - 6 inch barrel .22 auto, and size 14 for a 6 7/8 barrel .22 auto .

If you wanted leather, it's hard to beat the Triple K holsters on Shop Ruger for $55.

I just got a DeSantis Woodsman holster for my 5.5" Buck Mark. Should work for a similar barrel length Ruger. Found it for $26 on eBay. Very plain which I like.

The OP said what he said, but he may have meant an RST6.

Years ago my Dad gave me a “Benjamin Franklin” .22 pump air pistol he had bought second hand. It came with a Brauer Bros. Model H27 leather holster.

I put my Mark 2 KMK678 in it and it fits perfect. Check out the used tables at you local shops. I see random Brauer Bros holsters quite often for $20 or so.

Around here a couple gun shops have a box of old holsters. One policy is if you find one you like just leave an old one of yours and take the newly selected one.

I believe the box also says $10..
