It's been quite awhile since I've bought a knife.
Now I've added two new ones within a week.
You guys are a bad influence!

I ordered two Bokers.

I like allot of there styles and they have been good enough for daily tasks with a knife I wouldn't stake my life upon, but has offered 100% service for me.

I wanted another MAGNUM for a task knife to be left where needed.

Second knife is a Magnum Great Knight

I didn't choose the best videos to show case, but the first ones reviewing the blades. Really, for visual only the reviewers, are more than a lil borling.

Well, I didn't NEED one but I had asked to fondle the CKRT Pilar each of the last three times I had been in Kittery Trading Post.
I knew at some time I would spring for one so I told them I'd take it. For now it has taken the place of my Pocket Bushman as my EDC.
I have several CKRT knives and one of my favorites is an early Apache III. I am fairly certain that this one will be a favorite too.

Who is the wise guy who posted photographs FOUR FEET wide and messed up the forum??????????

Now, on with the show.

I haven't bought anything new recently but I received this in the mail a few days ago from the NRA with a thank you note.

It was marked as Coyote Green....??

Two and a half inch blade marked Stone River LTD on one side and China on the other.

. . . and for no particular reason . . .

. . . I found myself ordering the Victronix Skipper Pro, a knife with locking marlinspike. I'm not a sailer and haven't been on any type of boat for years, but for some reason this one spoke to me.

It appears I haven't lost all my marbles, but there is definitely a hole in the bag . . .

Editted - it was backordered and refund for it is forthcoming. Bother - I have to find one somewhere else !!

I usually don't buy factory knives and even rarer an automatic. I saw that there was a limited run of the new Kershaw Launch 8 being available at Blade 2019. A friend works with Matt Diskin at his booth and snagged me one with the Orange G10 handle. Orange is a favorite of mine and I have several with that on them.

Made in the USA with 154CM steel, pretty cool!

Not very happy with it -- no belt clip -- useless to me

Benchmade 555

I have a number of Benchmade knives, and I do believe this one may be my favorite so far. Of course I feel this way because its new, but I believe its a real winner.20190706_214827_1562464247603.jpg
